Why I use WordPress

The day to day use of the back end is simple and foolproof. This means it will be comfortable for you to continue adding content and keeping your site current. Uploading images and other files is as easy as pie. If you should ever need it, there’s support online. SEO Search Engine Optimization is built into the site and helps you get found on the web.

What we can do:

  • Use colour well. It captures the energy of your business offer and delivers the message so that will be an important element.
  • Identify all the elements and determine what layout will work best – a 1, 2 or 3 column site.
  • Add a header that “nails it” – what your site is about, who it serves and how it serves them.
  • Make it easy for people to know where to look aka simple direct navigation.
  • Make YOU and what you stand for visible.

This is a back end map of a typical framework such as Thesis theme. This image was borrowed from art of blog that may help us in a discussion of what is possible.

What we cannot do (yet!):

  • The designer site you LOVE that cost someone $10,000 to $30,000.
  • Custom navigation icons
  • Custom banners that fit the whole frame
